Beauty | Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade

Those who know me in real life know that if my eyebrows are not on "fleek", 10/10 times my life is probably falling apart. I would probably give up all of my makeup if I got to keep my brows. Anyways, so I've been a long time lover of Anastasia brow supplies. I believe if anyone knows how to do brows, it's Anastasia. And with that being said, I've probably gone through at least 7 if not 10 of Anastasia's brow wiz pencils. Those have done me so good but they never last that long ):

I recently decided to give Anastasia's DIPBROW Pomade a try. I also picked up the brow brush as well since I've never owned an eyebrow brush in my life. Let me just say that I am officially a convert! For $18, this pomade is going to last me at least half a year. It's such an amazing value considering I bought a $21 brow wiz pencil every month and a half before. The brow brush was another $18, which is quite pricey as well, but at least you only need to buy that once. 

I have the pomade in the color Ash Brown (same as all my brow wiz pencils). The color is definitely a lot more pigmented than the pencil but I don't mind. It just means that a little goes a long way. I love the fact that it goes on so smoothly and dries almost like a powder. It has amazing lasting power and I almost never have to use my Anastasia clear brow gel anymore either! 

From now on, I think I'm going to stick to buying the pomade. It takes a little bit of time to get the hang of using it but I think I'm almost there. This product has really made both my brows and my wallet happier! 

Beauty | Lancome Foundation

Hello beautiful people! Today I wanted to speak about my favorite foundation. That is, the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24H Makeup foundation. I love this foundation for a number of reasons. One being, it has SPF 15. Yeah, that might not be a lot but I also don't go out into the sun as much as I would like to so it's all the SPF I need for my face. 

I also love this foundation because it comes in so many different shades. I currently wear the shade 220 Buff (C) and it's done me very well. I think it's the best matched for my skin color foundation I've ever used. 

Lastly, I love this foundation because the formula is amazing. It doesn't make you look cakey nor does it make you look super matte like a ghost. I like that it retains a little bit of the dewiness and gives me a healthy looking radiation. However, it doesn't make me super oily either and does last a good 12 to 14 hours (probably not 24H like it claims on the bottle). 

The price is quite steep. At $46.50, I could definitely buy a foundation plus something else at other brands, but I definitely think this foundation is worth it. I think I've already gone through 3 (if not 4) bottles of this and I love it each time. If you're looking for a foundation that doesn't look powdery and has great staying power without clinging onto your pores, you should definitely give this one a try! 

Beauty | Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip

So I gave into these Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip tubes a while back since they're apparently all the hype in the beauty circle and decided to purchase three because let's be serious, they were only $6 each. 

I got them in Tulle (a darker, browny pink), Solow (a blueish pink), and Midi (a pale, nude-y pink). Although I love all three, my favorite has got to be Solow. It's this beautiful pink color that's not too bright and not too pale. Perfect for work.

I used to be more into lip products back in college but I started getting lazy and stopped trying. But I feel like these are the perfect alternatives to lipsticks because they have great lasting power and are incredibly light. They go on really easily and turn matte on your lips almost instantly. Yet they're not drying like most matte things are. I always forget I have it on whenever I use it.

These are just so ridiculously easy to use and I usually reapply once after lunch or never. They fade gracefully too (hence voiding the need to reapply). The best thing is the color selection. There's so many colors to choose from on the website!
