Skin Care | Lush Love Lettuce

If you're in the market for a Lush mask, I highly recommend my favorite one of all time, the Love Lettuce fresh face mask. I think I've tried all the face masks at Lush related to problematic or oily skin–Catastrophe Cosmetic, Cupcake, Brazen Honey, and Cosmetic Warrior. And let me just say, Love Lettuce is the #1 in my book. And it is for many reasons.

1. It smells amazing. (Brazen Honey is my second favorite in terms of smell).
2. It's green. I feel like anything that goes on my face that's green just makes me psychologically happier.
3. It goes on the smoothest (in my opinion). I've tried all the other ones and they're either too goopy or too dry. Nothing smears nicely over my face like Love Lettuce.
4. It gives you a good yet gentle exfoliation.
5. You can leave this on your face for a long time. It doesn't dry you out or make your skin feel super tight like I've noticed with both Cosmetic Warrior and Brazen Honey.

The only thing I say, that does bother me each time is that I can never seem to finish the entire tub in the given time frame. And I've been smearing a lot more on my face too. I swear Lush just overpacks its products and guilt trips you into using it more. But I'm not one to put the same mask on my face for two days in a row.

I've purchased at least 6 of these in the past already. Lush has this deal where if you bring back 5 empty containers, you get a mask free. And the dumbest thing is that I know in the back of my mind that each time I reach the expiration date of my mask that I should clean out and keep the tub so I can collect them. But for some reason I never do it. I end up just tossing them out. Oh woe is me.
